"We had an outstanding meal and outstanding customer service! Our hotel front desk guy sent us here when we asked for a restaurant recommendation. The chips and salsa came with coleslaw. We ordered the vegetarian bean tostada, French fries, and a seafood rellano filled with crab and fish.
There is a very large menu selection with unique appetizers, traditional Mexican food, family grill meals, cheesy combo plates, seafood specials, and much more. If you like spicy food, the roasted jalapeños were screaming hot, which is always a sign that the kitchen is intentially sourcing high-quality fresh ingredients. Someone in the restaurant ordered the fajitas, and I melted in envy when they came out sizzling because they looked so good. I have to come back for the fajitas.
Both the family restaurant and cantina saloon sides have cool fireplaces. The highly professional staff wear matching shirts that say "not my first rodeo". The bartender Miguel made our skinny margaritas so fast! He is friends with everyone, and the restaurant was bustling with local regulars. Everyone was super real and happy and down to earth.
